Richard T. Merker has extensive experience over his 51 years practicing law. He's had over 150 jury trials and held every elected position in the Johnson County Bar Association (including president). Rick has successfully mediated several cases with resolutions in excess of $5,000,000. He is regularly appointed Special Master by trial judges. To date, Rick has participated in over 500 mediations and handled several arbitrations. As a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals, his aim is to facilitate dispute resolution in a cooperative and collaborative manner.
